Abstract EN

The research dealt with the concept of the origins of religion and its branches.

It determined the controls of the differentiation between the origins and branches of the theologians.

Then, it indicated the criticism and defects in them, adopting in showing that, the inductive-deductive approach.

The research concluded that the theologians have continued to differentiate between the origins of religion and its branches, but they separated in explaining the difference between them, but there is a common extent on which they agreed; the introduction of major issues and evidence of theology under the name of Usul al-Din.

All the controls that the theologians put in place to differentiate between the origins from the branches are invalid and have been criticized except for the distinction between the origins and the branches according to what is definitive and what is presumptive.

It may be true, or it may be false, according to the definitive and presumptive interpretation of issues and evidence.

With regard the meaning mentioned by the theologians, there is no doubt that it is invalid.
