Abstract EN

This study took note of the changes in contemporary archival concepts and combinations, and addressed the concept of electronic archival systems as a system based on a range of modern procedures, standards, laws and technologies to be implemented in central administrations.

We tried to present the concepts with which the concept of an electronic archive system intersects and to determine the differences between it and those of other information systems.

The aim of this study is to increase the theoretical scrutiny of contemporary terms used in Arab research, to reveal their semantic and conceptual differences.

The descriptive approach was used after gathering information and analyzing the problems of term and concept.

This study concludes with a number findings and observations, the most important of which is the distinction between the convergent concepts of the systems of electronic information and the updating of specialized thesauri and dictionaries of modern archival terminology.
