Many French historians, through their writings, contributed to putting forward a number of historical and even social opinions and theories about the history of Algeria, which made some researchers take them.

Hence it was necessary to shed light on one of the most prominent French historians in the twentieth century interested in the contemporary history of Algeria, the historian André- Nouschi, the author of numerous and varied writings, material and method.

This article deals with research and study aspects of the issues included in his books that reveal many political, economic, social, and cultural issues from the history of Algeria during the colonial period, especially after the First World War, and an attempt to address his different opinions that formed the main pillar, and the general objective For this study, in order to reach the extent of the credibility of relying on it in building a realistic perception of historical events.
