The current developments in the work environment made it aware of multiple and varied occupational risks, and as a result of this matter it became necessary to think about how to prevent this in order to achieve professional and economic stability within the employing institutions, and this is given that protection accrued to the worker as well as an improvement in efficiency the productivity of the institution at the lowest possible cost, and we have tried, through this study, to show the extent of the impact of the costs of work accidents and occupational diseases on the life of the employing institution through the costs it may spend in order to take care of those damages resulting from these risks and restore the situation to what it was in the beginning.
