The policy of inflation targeting is one of the tasks of modern monetary policy, as it is a policy aimed at controlling the rate of inflation by explicitly declaring a specific rate or range during a certain period of time.

through the set of amendments and procedures carried out by the central bank, and this is what was shown by the course of the study, based on the foregoing, the study aims to shed light on the policy of inflation targeting through familiarity with the various theoretical concepts associated with the term, i.e.

the definition of the policy and the requirements for its embodiment to raise the levels of the required transparency, as well as identifying the possibility of implementing this policy in Algeria.
