This article aims to find the phenomenon of citation and composition in the arab theater and advance the problem of quotation from the world stage, which became the destination of most theater directors, and the ence of the arab drama author, which imposes its alongside the other phenomen of theatrical phenomen, and the question: is the phenomenon due to the weakness of dramatic authorship? or it is the authority of the director who is imposing itself and negates the existence of the playwright
