Interpretation is one of the most important methods of modern literary criticism that is concerned with the multiplicity of intentions and readings of literary texts, poetry and prose.

"Ibn Bajja" was one of his most important poets, and the study took him as an application.

The study aims to answer a set of questions that touched on the idea of interpretation and its applications on the poetry of Andalusian philosophers by choosing an applied model represented by the Andalusian philosopher "Ibn Bajja".

The study provides an answer to it: What is meant by interpretation? What is the need for interpretation in the poetic texts of the philosophers of Andalusia? And what are the practical measures taken by the research in monitoring the interpretation mechanisms of Ibn Bajja? These and other previous problems, the study will attempt to provide answers to its questions by looking at the nature of interpretation, and how to interpret poetic texts in the light of applied models from the poetry of philosophers, which is represented by the study through the poetic pieces of "Ibn Bajja", and the study will depend on the descriptive analytical approach.
