Abstract EN

This study is a field study, which aims to measuring the role of the university in the relationship between the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19 and its mutated strains) and academic performance by applying to Taif university.

the problem of the study lies in several questions related to the role of the university in its three dimensions (health awareness, cultural awareness, educational environment) in the relationship between the Coronavirus pandemic and academic performance.

the study also aimed to identify the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic and the mutated strains of it on the academic performance of faculty members at Taif university.

the study is based on five main hypotheses, and the study was applied to a sample of (338) faculty members at Taif university, where the research is applied.

of it in academic performance due to the variables (gender-age-experience-academic degree-faculties).

the results also found a correlation between university dimensions variables, the Corona pandemic, and academic performance, and there is a clear impact of the Corona epidemic and its mutated strains on the performance of faculty members.

the results also revealed that the direct impact of the Corona virus pandemic and mutated strains represented in the psychological impact and anxiety on academic performance is still a positive moral effect when mediating the dimensions of the role of the university, i.e.

there is mediation and this mediation is partial mediation, and the indirect effect of the Corona virus pandemic and mutated strains represented in psychological impact concern on academic performance has a positive moral effect when mediating the dimensions of the university's role.
