Abstract EN

The study aimed to demonstrate the relationship between the Information and communications technology and the Algerian youth value system.

In fact, this is an intertwined relationship, as the value system can not evolve and regenerate (ie, overcome stagnation and decline) if its rely not on information and communications technology and the diffrent mass media to spread, expand and to its openess as a result of the possibilities offered by these technologies in terms of interaction, communication and knowledge for individuals in general and youth in particular, and that communication technology affects the value system in terms of contents that help to produce knowledge, symbols, behaviours and acts, and these technologies ( Including Internet, social media, and smartphone.

) can not operate without knowledge, information and news whose form its value and cultural content, as it employs it and subject it to the requirements of social, economic and political changes taking place in societies to bring change or to produce new values that are compatible with modernity of various technological means and the requirements of the Algerian youth era.

This study, tagged with “ Information and Communications Technology and the Algerian youth value system…Change in values or new values? ” presented in a theoretical way is to dive into this interrelationship and its results by listing the knowledge and literary accumulations related to this multidimensional subject.
