This study attempts to monitor and analyze recent trends in journalism technology studies and research, and aims to monitor, characterize, and analyze published or unpublished Arab studies and research in Egypt that are related to journalism technology during the year 2012-2021, by surveying studies conducted in this specialization, and analyzing them in an analytical manner.

The second level, with the aim of providing an in-depth analytical vision of the research trends in the field of study, by revealing the subject of the study, its classification, the year and place of its publication, the case or issues it discusses, the samples that were applied to it, the theoretical framework that was relied upon, the type and method of the study, and the tools for collecting The data, conclusions and results of studies and research, in addition to the researcher setting a future vision for this type of research that could lead the researchers' steps in the future.
