Summary: It was one of the preoccupations of scholars, ancient and modern, to research the origin of the imperfect verb, and some of them concluded that it is a mitigating verb, and some of them claimed that the imperfect verb is an echo of other verbs, and the research in this case calls for a review of one of the Arabic dictionaries; To enumerate what it contains of the missing verbs, and then look into the fact of the claim that the incomplete verb is an echo of others through the proportion of what appears in it.
