Abstract EN

This Study seeks to read the aesthetic formation and semantic Structure in literary texts' through Shamsa Al-An- Zi's collection " Afwah wa'umniaati"• as a model for the 'Short Short Story' which is a new and updated art in Arabic literature.

The Qudy applied the concepts and mechanisms of reception' by tracing the pattern of semantic and aesthetic relationships that form the 'Short Short Stories' in this collection.

Consequently the analysis revealed a set of results' highlighting the tragic na- ture of the surprise' its role in identifying the semantic features and the general context of collection Stories.

It also highlights the role of women in the lives of men in particular' and in society in general' which makes the Qories evidence of the situation of women and advocates their presence in society as opposed to a State of permanent conflict' in a world dominated by male-cen- tred bias' that affects the society itself.
