The humanities and social sciences are witnessing many discussions about the problematic relationship of the researcher with ethics and stressing the need to set principles regulating the practices of scientists and researchers and to adhere to scientific and ethical standards.

In this context, the current study aims to identify the nature of scientific research and its peculiarities, and to research the concept of research ethics and its importance on the quality of scientific research, in addition to addressing the advantages of research in the humanities and social sciences and the challenges faced by the researcher in this type of scientific fields.
