Through this research paper, we discussed the impact of Taylor's rule in implementing the policy of inflation targeting in the Algerian economy using an ARDL model, Taylor's rule showed The existence of the effect of each of the two gaps: the gdp and the rate of inflation on the Taylor coefficient, in proportion to the adoption of the policy of inflation targeting in the ence of an effect of the exchange rate gap.

We also concluded that Taylor's rule is not sufficient to target inflation, as the latter in Algeria has multiple origins and is not of a single nature.
