By the way of energy sector transfers from systems controlled by fossil fuels to more efficient and sustainable systems based on renewable energy, new opportunities for work are emergent.

In this context, this research targets to focus on the issue of gender diversity in the workforce in the renewable energy sector by reviewing and evaluating the employment of woman in this sector.

The research concluded that there is an imbalance between gender equity in employment in the renewable energy sector in the countries of the world, and that failure to improve the participation of woma n may interrupt the transition to renewable energy systems.
