Abstract EN

This research sheds light on the objections of one of the most important Arabic figures in the seventh century ah, which is Abu al-Hasan Ibn Asfour, on the knowledge of another of the most important Arabic figures in Andalusia in the fifth and sixth centuries, who is Abu al-Hajjaj Ibn Yaseawn-in their explanation of Shawahed for al-Farsi’s alIdah.

the browser of Ibn Asfour’s explanation of Shawahed alIdah makes it easy for him to notice that one of the reasons for his classification of this book is to follow the opinions of its predecessors from the commentators of the Shawahed alIdah, in order to criticize, clarify or analyze them, Ibn Yaseawn is considered the most prominent of these commentators whom Ibn Asfour cared about.

as his objections to Ibn Yaseawn in particular amounted to thirty-six objections, which varied in their subject matter between grammatical, morphological, semantic and other objections, and so on.

this abundance in the number of objections and the depth of thought and consideration in it encouraged the initiative to collect and study them objectively.

in his study of the objections, the researcher deliberately started with the poem that the objection revolved around, then stated the opinion of Ibn Yaseawn that was objected to, and his argument, then stated Ibn Asfour's opinion about it, his argument and the reasons for his objection, then studying the aspects of each of the two parties to try to reach the most likely opinion, and a report the validity of the objection or others, then move on to the next objection.

among the most important findings of the research is that Ibn Asfour was right in many of his objections to Ibn Yaseawn, and his reasons were objective and purely scientific.
