La personnalité tunisienne d'origine algérienne, qui a joué un rôle de premier plan dans la lutte culturelle et politique des deux pays, a porté un projet culturel de la Renaissance et le stade de développement culturel et intellectuel connu en Algérie et en Tunisie au tournant du XXe siècle et a contribué à sa double activité politique et culturelle.
