Abstract EN

The foreign policy of the Sultanate of Oman is based on the principle of positive neutrality, which leads to maintaining friendly relations with neighboring countries.

This principle is based on the provisions of Islamic Sharia that builds international relations with others - whether they are at home or abroad - on the basis of peaceful coexistence and respect.

The research consists of an introduction, three sections and a conclusion.

The research deals with the definition of positive neutrality and its applications in international relations and in the foreign policy of the Sultanate of Oman.

It touches on positive intervention and its applications in international relations from a jurisprudential perspective, and it introduces the jurisprudential adaptation of the unlawful fighting between two or more Muslim sects.

Among the findings and recommendations are taking the necessary measures to spread the culture of tolerance and deepen these values and principles in the hearts of young people, deepening the concept of positive neutrality, and adhering to peace and reconciliation.
