Abstract EN

The current study aimed at determining values that should be included in the digital educational platforms, more specifically the Egyptian educational platform, and analyzing contents of the platform in order to detect its inclusion of a crop of digital values necessary therein.

the study aimed also at determining if the platform has been properly designed so as to inculcate digital values, and providing recommendations for improving such a platform.

the study implemented the descriptive method via content analysis depending on the Egyptian educational platform using five categories : religious values pertaining to man's observance of his lord, social values, economic values, political values, and daily-practice values.

out of these categories (33) indicators were included.

content of the platform represented the basic unit of analysis, while the idea was the basic unit of numeration and registration.

the study reached a list of digital values necessary for the platform.

differences were detected among experts as per the ordering of such values.

statistical analyses also pinpointed such differences.

although religious values came in the first extent from the point of experts' views, they came second in the statistical analyses after social values.

the study revealed that the platform included all of the digital sub-values.

the most frequent value was "cooperation.

the least frequent came to be "loyalty and sacrifice".

an imbalance was noticed as for the presentation of such values.

their distribution was quite inconsistent and irregular.

by far, the researcher forwarded a number of recommendations as for making use of such values within the platform.
