Abstract EN

This study aims to shed light on the trilogy of brightness, strength and pride in the orphan of Suwaid
Ibin Abi Kahil.

The disclosure of this trilogy is to reveal how the overall meaning is formed in the orphan's text.

The idea of brightness in the orphan was manifested in the verses of the lead that pertain to the relative and the memory and description of the beloved (from house 1 to house 7), as well as in the verses of spectrum and imagination (from house 8 to house 11, and from house 45 to house 50), and the idea of brightness continues Until the end of Al-Nasib's introduction to include the idea of the night and the stars and the poet's recollection of his beloved Salma (from the 12th to the 19th house).

The idea of brightness combined with the idea of strength appears in the description of the desert, the deserts, the strong horses that accompanied it, and the strong cats that return the water supply at the time of the dawn and dawn (from the 20th to the 29th house).

The poet then turns to pride (from house 30 to house 44); Then the idea of strength and brightness touches the orphan again and is reflected in the description of the journey on the strong camel and the wild bull (from house 51 to house 60).

The idea of pride is manifested again in the first person (from the 61st to the 66th house); And he moves from pride to the idea of proving strength over the haters of the enemies, and pride in achieving victory over them (from the 67th house to the 79th house).

The triple of brightness, strength and pride is manifested in achieving victory over enemies (from the 80th to the 109th house).

The orphan expresses the purposes of ancient Arabic poetry, as it included kinship, spectrum, imagination, journey, animal, description of the desert, strength in facing dangers, fighting enemies, satire, self and tribal pride, and other purposes of Arabic poetry.
