This research aims to extrapolate the methodological features that Imam al-Shalubin (D.

645 AH) followed in his great explanation of the juzuli introduction, which was a brief introduction to Arabic grammar, with which its author wanted to control the rules of Arabic, tighten its origins, and restrict its issues, and many scholars praised it, but it is taken for it.

its expressions were deeply engrossed in logic, difficult for beginners in grammar, and very brief; therefore, the scholars raced to explain it, and one of the most important remaining explanations is the explanation of al-Shalubin (D.

645 AH), which represents most of the heritage of al-Shalubin, beginning with the preface, the examples of al-Jazuliya, the small explanation, the great explanation, and this shows his special care for the heritage of Abu Musa, so he began with a preface to his explanation, which is a brief explanation without much exposure.

for evidence, examples, or issues, and without an indication that he is explaining the book of Abu Musa; then he had a comment on Abu Musa’s book, which he called: examples of al-Jazoulia, where he took care of evidence, and examples he did not mention in the two explanations, then the small explanation, which contains some opinions about the two children, and his care of evidence and examples, then the great explanation that represents the juice of his effort, and the development of his grammatical thought.
