The interest in childhood at this present time is an interest in the future, so it is necessary to study everything that children go through at this stage.

the lack of vocal awareness that characterizes those with learning difficulties, whose impact can be reduced and taken care of during the kindergarten stage, through early diagnosis in these children are at risk of learning difficulties.

therefore, the current study aimed to identify the level of phonemic awareness of kindergarten children who are at risk of learning difficulties and their normal peers, and to identify the differences in their phonemic awareness level by applying the level of phonemic awareness to them.

the study sample consisted of 60 boys and girls of those at risk of learning difficulties and 60 normal children at the second level of kindergarten in kg2 kindergarten in Dakahlia governorate.

they were divided into two equal groups and the Stanford-Binet test and the rapid neurological survey test prepared by Abdel Wahab Kamel (2007) and the pre-academic skills battery for kindergarten children prepared by Adel Abdullah were used (2006) the results of the study revealed the differences in the level of phonemic awareness between children at risk of learning difficulties and their general peers.
