The research aimed to identify the withdrawal behavior and its relationship to the language delay in kindergarten children.

the researcher used the descriptive curriculum, and the study sample consisted of 100 kindergarten children.

aged 4-6, 50 are male and 50 are female.

the objective of the current research is to identify the nature and course of withdrawal behavior, to detect the differences between men and women linguistically late in withdrawal behaviour, and to identify the relationship between withdrawal behaviour and language delay in kindergarten children.

the study tools were the language scale, Abu Haseba (2013) and the withdrawal behaviour scale for children, Adel Abdullah (2003).

the results of the study found that there was a statistically significant inverse correlation between the level of language (reception and expression) and the withdrawal behaviour of linguistically delayed children.

there are no statistically significant differences between the mean grades of linguistically delayed children (male and female) on the language scale of preschool children attributable to the type variant.

there are no statistically significant differences between the mean degrees of linguistically delayed children on the scale of withdrawal behavior attributable to the type variable.
