Abstract EN

The purpose of the study was to investigate the level of psychological loneliness among foreign students in Al-MajmaahUniversity and its relationship to some demographic variables.

The sample of the study consisted of (337) male and female students, at bachelor's degree, of whom (192) males and (145) females, in the first semester of the academic year 2018/2019.

To achieve this aim, Russel (1980) scale was administrated to measure the level of psychological loneliness among foreign students.

The findings of the study showed that the level of psychological loneliness among foreign students was low.

Moreover, there are no significant statistical differences in the level of psychological loneliness among foreign students according to gender, also there are no significant statistical differences in the level of psychological loneliness among foreign students according to residence place (with family, with friends).

While there are significant statistical differences in the level of psychological loneliness among foreign students according to age in favor of students under 20 years of age.
