The study aimed to identify the degree of including twenty-first century skills in kindergarten curricula in Saudi Arabia from the point of view of teachers.
Study followed the descriptive approach of a questionnaire consisting of 54 phrases distributed over three axes learning and innovation, Media & IT, life and work.
Applied to random sample of 270 female teachers from government kindergartens in Makkah.
Overall results include skills was medium, and at the level of sub-skills - the skills of: learning & innovation, media, information & technology, was medium.
While the degree of guaranteeing work and life skills was high.
Results did not show any differences in the questionnaire proving the difference in the main specialization of the female teachers, while differences proving the difference in the number of years of experience in favor of female teachers who have ten years of experience/more, there were also differences proving the difference in the number of training courses in favor of the female teachers who had three courses/more.
Study recommended rebuilding and designing educational units for kindergartens, balancing the skills of the twentieth century included in them, while enriching its activities with innovative and technological skills.
