Abstract EN

This research aims to identify the articles of the Child Visitation Law, with the Islamic Sharia and religious scholars' interpretation of the Law content, in addition to observation of the main cases discussing its clauses, and defining the shortcomings in its articles.

The research has relied on the analysis approach of the Child Visitation Law content.

The research results have revealed that: the term visitation has been associated with another terms such as childcare obligation, child-raising supervision, since children need constant observation and sufficient time.

The period shall increase as the child subject to custody gets older.

Otherwise, it will negatively affect the child and his parent.

The legislator shall consider all schools of legal thought, or all legal opinions and interpretations in one case, due to the diversity of the schools and different various opinions in the Islamic Jurispr -dence, which may conflict or clash with the changing society conditions in Child Visitation Law.
