English Abstract

The current research dealt with (the difficulties that art education teachers face in the preparatory stage) in an attempt to study the most important difficulties that art education teachers face in the preparatory stage by adopting a questionnaire prepared for this study consisting of six areas for that, and the research falls into four chapters: the first chapter included The research problem that ended with how (identifying the difficulties that art education teachers face in the preparatory stage).

The research aims to know the difficulties facing art education teachers.

The limits of the research included a time frame for the academic year (2018-2019).

Locally, preparatory schools in the center / the holy province of Karbala With regard to defining terms, the researcher has defined the following terms that fall into the core of the research: difficulties, art education, and middle schools.

As for the second chapter (theoretical framework), it includes two topics.

The first is concerned with the nature of the difficulties facing art education teachers, and the second is art education from the viewpoint of its teachers.

The researcher investigated the most important axes through which the teacher faces these difficulties.

In the third chapter (Research Procedures), the researcher identified his research community as (32) teachers and schools who teach art education in the center’s .schools In the fourth chapter, the researcher reached the results and conclusions of the research and then presented his recommendations and suggestions, and some of the results came from them: 1- Classroom crowding hinders the use of effective teaching methods.

2- The attention of the finished grades students in the other subjects exceeds their interest in art education.

3- The society's view of art education is less than its view of other academic subjects, and this paragraph occupied the first place in the field of difficulties related to the aesthetic culture of society.

Some conclusions came from them: 1- Unavailability of a studio hall for teachers by school administrations.

2- Lack of interest by students, including largely students of classes ending in the art education lesson, because they consider it an entertaining and non-essential lesson.
