Abstract EN

The corona pandemic struck the world without exception, forcing it to follow new life data, undermining the images that it had previously accustomed to, and imposing a clear compulsion on it represented by the necessity to make what is called (social distancing), and not to touch and physical closeness as much as possible, and because human life is based on origins of closeness, mixing, and social interaction, this distancing cannot be easily accepted, especially as it removed many foundations of life and came up with other cultural formulas, which forced human beings to the necessity of coexistence, with the new lifestyle patterns imposed by this crisis.

therefore, this research paper seeks to dismantle this imposed turn that has dislocation the rooted cultural forms into other forms that must be followed, and which may become taken for granted after the end of the pandemic.

among the goals that this paper is trying to pursue is to watch the changes, in during of the coercion that this crisis has practiced, and how to deal with this compulsion in distancing, and the new life images in Iraqi society during this pandemic, and the possibility of forming a new culture after the end of this pandemic.

all of this can be traced through the descriptive ethnographic approach, and relying on the cognitive approach and knowing the opinions of the respondents on this compulsion and the new cultural formulations imposed, by following the means of observation and participant observation.
