Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the impact of unemployment on the level of crime in Palestine, and the study relied on the descriptive approach in one of its analytical forms to achieve the purposes of the study due to its relevance to the objectives of the study.

the sample used was the employees of the security services in the Nablus governorate, the researcher relied on the use of the questionnaire to collect information, and the results of the study revealed that the impact of unemployment on the level of crime in Palestine from the point of view of the employees of the Palestinian security services in the governorate of Nablus was significant.

also, the study also concluded that there are no differences statistically significant at the significance level (α≤ 0.05) among the average responses of the members of the sample of the study towards the effect of unemployment on the level of crime in Palestine due to the following variables: (gender, years of service, military rank).
