English Abstract

The present research deals with the effectiveness of the lesson of art education in the development of visual intelligence in high school students.

The researches has studied art education as a concept and value in biology, and its role in guiding the mechanisms of work and construction within the development of skills and abilities in the art of drawing.

The research included four chapters, the first chapter dealt with the methodological framework of the research, represented by the problem of research and the importance of research and the need for it.

The problem was identified as follows: Is the study of art education effective in the development of visual intelligence in secondary students.

The chapter also contains the research objective: • Recognize the effectiveness and role of the lesson of art education in the development of visual intelligence in secondary students.

The limits of the research were limited to the drawings and pictures of the students, which activated the lesson of art education in them, in turn contributed to the development of their skills, specifically the sixth grade preparatory (bio), and depending on the experimental approach.

The second chapter contains the theoretical framework.

The third chapter contains the research procedures that included (the research society and its sample, the research tool, the method used in teaching, analysis of teaching tasks and statistical methods).

The research society was damaged by (300) students for the dual stage in the schools of the center in Karbala for the academic year 2018-2019).

A random sample of (30) students from Al-Atri School for Distinguished Students was selected, divided into two groups (Z and Z) with (15) students in each group.

Two types of tests were designed: the first is cognitive testing and the second is the skill test.

It is measured by the skill assessment form prepared for this purpose.

The validity and consistency of the research tools were verified.

In order to achieve the objective of the research, the observation form was constructed as a research tool after it was adopted in the analysis of the content of the biology drawings and the material of art education.

The research tool was subjected to the conditions of honesty and consistency.

The following statistical methods were used to extract the stability and results: (Mann Whitney) for two independent samples, the Lukoxen test to demonstrate the effectiveness of the experimental variable or any extraneous variable, the coefficient of difficulty coefficient, the coefficient of discrimination, the Kiodar Redchacone equation, and the Holistic equation.

The fourth chapter included the results of the research and conclusions, as well as the guidance and proposals that will be mentioned.
