Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the reality of the performance of school leaders in middle school schools in the state of Kuwait, and to develop a proposed vision for the development of the performance of school leaders in middle school schools in light of the transformational leadership approach.

the middle stage in the state of Kuwait, and the results of the field study showed that the responses of the study sample, the middle school teachers’ estimations to the reality of transformational leadership practices in middle schools in Kuwait in each of the six tool domains and the domains combined came within the category of evaluation with a medium degree, and its mean ranged between (3.02) identification and participation school objectives, (3.30) intellectual arousal and expectations of performance levels, (3.19) change structure, (3.36) teacher support and professional development, (2.98) creating an environment and climate for teaching and learning, and (2.88) role models, and they came together for all dimensions / areas of transformational leadership with a mean of (3.15), that there are statistically significant differences at the level (0.01) between the responses of the sample members about the total axes according to years of experience in favor of experience (from 10 to less than 20 years), there are statistically significant differences at the level (0.01) according to the educational qualification in favor of graduate studies, and this means that there is a large gap between what is required of school leaders in middle schools in Kuwait and the reality in achieving the transformational leadership necessary for the advancement of the educational process this hinders the performance of these schools from achieving the educational goals set.

in light of this, the study presented a proposal for developing the performance of middle school leaders in light of the transformational leadership approach in the state of Kuwait.
