Abstract EN

In view of the close and successful relationship between interior lighting and its applications and basic concepts in interior design and provision of appropriate lighting to understand and analyze the interior space in tourist buildings, this research focused on giving the general framework and basic aspects to simulate the comprehensiveness of the form and content of interior lighting in the process of forming the interior space and employing its elements.

reaching results and conclusions that can contribute to determining the scientific basis on which the interior designer can be based in formulating a contemporary concept of the interior space and its elements so that they are meaningful and meaning related to lighting, which can be largely derived from the concepts and principles of employing lighting in design contemporary interior, where these results are as follows : 1-lighting, whether natural or artificial, directly affects the shape, color, and quality of the interior space as a whole.

the determinants of the interior space, including ceilings, floors, and walls, are affected and affected by lighting, which contributes to a significant and noticeable increase in the aesthetic of the tourist interior space.

2-natural and artificial lighting plays a prominent role in showing the components of the interior space in a functional and aesthetic way.

it is considered a visual effect with enormous potential that contributes to creating a visual environment with an interesting effect in its different shapes and colors, which enhances the efficiency of the space and raises its design quality.

3-the lighting design studied by the interior designer in a scientific and practical way contributes to creating a successful balance between lighting and the tourist interior space.

it contributes to enhancing several key aspects of the tourist space such as functionality, aesthetics and efficiency.
