This study aims to show the contributions of the Algerian historian Abd-el-Kader Zabadia in writing the history of sub-Saharan Africa, where he grew up in a conservative scientific family, studied in the Quranic schools and books, he also learned in private schools belonging to the French colonialism, in an attempt to introduce the most important material in his writings Valuable scientific studies, whether in establishing the specialization of African studies in Algeria, or in the manuscripts verification and writing of books and scientific articles whose ideas are still rich; But it embodied the first ground for the Arab reader, and gave clear principles and foundations for expanding the horizons of this specialization, with a critical and analytical vision and with the vision of Algerian pens.
