The study study addressed the relationship of African states with the International Criminal Court, It's a relationship of disorder and convulsion, after the African states rushed to join the court at the beginning of its activity and requested its intervention in the trial of those accused of committing international crimes on its territory, and it provided facilities for cooperation in achieving international criminal justice, it retreated.

And criticized the work of the International Criminal Court, after noting that most of those who were tried were citizens of the African continent.

The position of the states of the African continent did not stop at the point of criticizing the work of the court.

Rather, there are those who decided to withdraw from its membership, and some of them threatened to withdraw, and the level of tension between the two parties reached the level of threatening a collective withdrawal from the court, which presents Africanstates with several alternative options in their relationship with the court.
