Summary: The study deals with the role of private Algerian television channels in supporting local cultural diversity through their media agenda through the contents of the various relevant programs, as a means of transmitting culture by employing them to define the social system and the cultural heritage and to attract it using modern technological techniques to pass its cultural messages.

What may push Algerian youth users to form knowledge and an image of the various cultures of their country.

Without communication, culture is not transmitted, as it is a natural product of a communicational interaction process that works to create, build and transfer it between individuals.

In light of this importance, the study aims to research through the main question: How do private Algerian television channels contribute to supporting the cultural diversity of the Algerian student? Two sub-questions emerged from it, the first: How do private Algerian channels contribute to shaping the social culture of the Algerian student? The second: How do private Algerian television channels contribute to shaping the political culture of the Algerian student? We distributed 120 forms that included 30 questions divided into two main axes: the first axis is about general data, and the second axis includes questions related to the first and second hypotheses, where the hypothesis is dealt with The first is the formation of social culture, and the second hypothesis deals with political culture, and the selected sample is distributed on gender and specialization, according to the total number of the study population (Masters students at the University of 20 August 1955 Skikda), and the study reached a number of results that answered the main question posed about the contribution of Algerian private television channels in support of the national cultural diversity of the Algerian student.
