This article aims to study the impact of accounting and financial reporting on economic performance by focusing on particular channels.
It is then to think about the interactive way of this impact with other institutional factors.
Using a theoretical methodology, in which we have identified three channels involving the use of information, the study concludes that a structure and governance mechanisms adapted to control the quality of accounting and financial information lead to a high level of profitability and consequently reflect a high level of economic performance of the firm.

Cet article vise à étudier l'incidence de l'information comptable et financière sur la performance économique tout en appuyant sur certains canaux.
Il s'agit ensuite de réfléchir à la façon interactive de cet effet avec d'autres facteurs institutionnels.
Par le biais d'une méthodologie théorique d'où nous avons répertorié trois canaux impliquant l'utilisation de l'information, la recherche indique qu'une structure ainsi que des mécanismes de gouvernance conçus pour encadrer la qualité de l'information comptable et financière engendre une rentabilité importante de l'entreprise et par conséquent refléter un niveau élevé de performance économique.
