This article entitled "the masculinity of women's verbs in the Quranic discourse -grammatical referencing and rhetorical secret'', investigates the rhetorical value of using masculine and feminine forms in the Holy Quran.

it addresses the issue of using masculine forms of verbs to refer to women in Quranic contexts, breaking obvious grammatical rules.

the investigation is done through studying some Quranic samples, referencing them to the grammatical rules, then seeking what is beyond grammar : semantic and rhetorical purposes.
