This research paper discusses the issue of monitoring the financing and spending of the electoral campaign in the Maghreb countries, and shows the mechanisms adopted in this, based on the latest electoral legislation and relevant regulatory texts.

if the Algerian legislator had created a supervisory body with the election authority under the name of the election campaign finance monitoring committee, the Tunisian legislator has already achieved the independence of judicial and administrative oversight through the court of accounts.

as for the Moroccan legislator, in light of its adoption of the governmental electoral management style, the auditing process was addressed by the supreme court of accounts.
