Arabic Abstract
تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى بيان أثر خصائص المدير التنفيذي على الإفصاح عن المعلومات المستقبلية للشركات الصناعية المدرجة في بورصة عمان خلال الفترة 2013-2018، و لتحقيق هدف الدراسة قامت الباحثة بجمع البيانات اللازمة من خلال التقارير السنوية المنشورة للشركات الصناعية التي تمثل عينة الدراسة و التي بلغت 62 شركة أي ما نسبته 79.03% من إجمالي الشركات الصناعية المدرجة في بورصة عمان.
تم استخدام اختبار الانحدار الخطي المتعدد لبيان أثر خصائص المدير التنفيذي على الإفصاح عن المعلومات المستقبلية للشركات الصناعية المدرجة في بورصة عمان و المتمثلة بـ : العمر الازدواجية المستوى العلمي التخصص، نسبة الملكية، الخبرة و مدة الخدمة.
و أخيرا، توصلت الدراسة إلى وجود أثر ذي دلالة إحصائية لخصائص المدير التنفيذي على مستوى الإفصاح عن المعلومات المستقبلية المتمثلة بـ : العمر، الازدواجية، المستوى العلمي، التخصص، نسبة الملكية، الخبرة ومدة الخدمة.
و قد أوصت الدراسة بمجموعة من التوصيات أهمها التوصية بضرورة زيادة وعي المدراء التنفيذيين لأهمية الإفصاحات المستقبلية خصوصا كبار السن منهم، كما أوصت الدراسة بضرورة الاتجاه نحو التجديد الدوري للمدراء التنفيذيين و عدم الاكتفاء بتعيين عدد محدود من المدراء لفترات زمنية طويلة، مما يفتح أفاقا لأفكار جديدة و يضمن التوزيع العادل للأدوار.
English Abstract
This study aims to explain the effect of the characteristics of the CEO on the disclosure of forward-looking information for industrial companies listed on the Amman Stock Exchange during the period 2013-2018, and to achieve the goal of the study, the researcher collected the necessary data through the published annual reports of industrial companies representing the study sample, which amounted to 62 companies with means 79.03% of the total industrial companies listed on the Amman Stock Exchange.
Multiple linear regression test was used to examin the effect of the CEO characteristics on the disclosure of forward-looking information for industrial companies listed on the Amman Stock Exchange, represented by: age, duplication, educational level, specialization, ownership percentage, experience and tenure.
Finally, the study found a statistically significant effect of the characteristics of the CEO on the level of disclosure of forward-looking information represented by: age, duplication, level of education, specialization, ownership percentage, experience and tenure, and the study recommended a set of recommendations, the most important of which are: Recommendation to increase awareness Executive managers of the importance of future disclosures, especially the elderly among them.
The study also recommended that the trend should be towards periodic renewal of executives and not only appointing a limited number of managers for long periods of time, which opens horizons for new ideas and ensures the equitable distribution of roles.
