Abstract EN

The health services are a set of preventive services provided by the health sector at the level of the state, whether therapeutic or preventive to the community members to maintain the health.

These services are important to many countries that give much shrifts to them because of their great impact on society and human health through the creation of distinguished health staff and international and national experiences and all necessary requirements.

Most Iraqi cities, including the study area, face a number of problems and challenges, such as the poor distribution of services in general and health in particular, in addition to their concentration in the center of cities and the lack of planning criteria consideration in the distribution in line with the population increase and their needs for such services.

So the current study focuses on the health reality in Karbala province, Al-Husseiniya district, to measure the extent of its efficiency in relation to the requirements of the population.

The study shows the results of the field study that there is a clear lack of the size and distribution services provided to the center of the Husseiniya district.

It is noted that not only is there a service lack but also there are a deficiency in planning and the ence of future plans.

That is, the health services should take a great priority over other fields.
