يتناول هذا البحث بالدراسة و التحليل طبيعة و أهمية العامل الاقتصادي الذي كان أبرز فتيل لإندلاع الكثير من الثورات و الانتفاضات التي شهدتها الشعوب، لا سيما في التاريخ المعاصر، و يسعى البحث لمعرفة مديات تأثير العامل الاقتصادي في الحياة العامة السياسية و الاجتماعية كونه المحرك الفعلي لكثير من النشاطات المجتمعية، لا سيما سوق العمل.
لذا سلط البحث الضوء على منطقية مؤثرات الجوانب الاقتصادية في انتفاضة محلية شهدها العراق في ثلاثينيات القرن المنصرم في مدينة جنوبية صغيرة في حجمها لكنها كبيرة في تأثيراتها على مجمل الأوضاع السياسية و الاجتماعية في العراق، تلك هي مدينة سوق الشيوخ التي اندلعت فيها انتفاضة عام ١٩٣٥، وكانت هذه الحركة الثورية قوية ومؤثرة إذ أنها هزة كيان الدولة أنذاك، يضاف الى ذلك تمتع هذه الحركة الثورية بدعم شعبي و عشائري، فضلا عن دعم عقائدي تمثل في استنادها لمباركة المؤسسة الدينية في النجف.
أرتكز البحث على محورين، جاء الاول ليبحث التدهور الاقتصادي و أثره في دخول العشائر العراقية في الصراعات السياسية التي شهدها العراق في مرحلة الثلاثينيات من القرن العشرين، و اختص المحور الثاني بدراسة تداعيات التدهور الاقتصادي و لجوء العشائر لخيارات المواجهة المسلحة مع السلطة .أستقى البحث معلوماته التاريخية من مجموعة متنوعة من المصادر تقف في طليعتها الوثائق غير المنشورة و هي وثائق البلاط الملكي العراقي، فضلا عن الرسائل الجامعية و الدراسات و البحوث.
Abstract EN
This study examines the nature and significance of the economic aspect, which was the most significant spark for the start of many revolutions and upheavals that people saw, particularly in recent history.
Consequently, the study clarifies the logical impacts of the economic factors in a local rebellion that Iraq experienced in the 1930s in a southern city that is tiny in size but has significant effects on the country overall political and social situations.
The revolutionary movement is strong and well-known since it upended the state at the time.
This revolutionary movement also benefited from popular, clan, and ideological backing as seen by its reliance on the endorsement of the local religious establishment in Najaf.
The study was based on two axes: the first looked at the state of the economy and how it affected the involvement of Iraqi tribes in the political unrest of the 1930s; the second focused on the effects of the state of the economy and the clans' use of violent conflict with the government.
The research used a range of sources to gather its historical data, foremost among them being the unpublished records, which are the documents of the Iraqi royal court, as well as academic theses, studies, and research.
