Writing about local history is a challenging and fascinating task since it requires the historian to search, inspect and judge people and events.

This type of writing takes a lot of time as well as the scarcity of sources forcing the researcher to depend on the oral memory of those who lived in that era.

Jewish sect in Iraq faced prosperity due to peaceful tolerance and peaceful coexistence.

Kut city was a a wonderful example for coexistence, recognizing the other and spirit of tolerance between different religions، nationalities and denominations.

Kut city became a place for moderation and equilibrium with no hate.

Jewish sect in Kut was distinguished by the Integration with Muslims and other religions to the point that they became an integral part and an influential factor in the society especially in industry and trade.
