This research consists of four chapters, the first chapter contains the research problem which was identified through answering the following question: What are the aesthetics of animal shapes in Ottoman Iznik Ceramics? The importance of the research and the need for it.

The research aim is determined through identifying the aesthetics of animal shapes in Ottoman Iznik Ceramics.

The researcher has determined the most important terms in this research.

The second chapter includes two topics: - First topic is the animal shapes in Islamic arts.

- Second topic is the history of Ottoman Iznik Ceramics Industry.

The third chapter contains the research procedures including research community and selecting and analyzing the five samples.

The fourth chapter includes the most important findings and conclusions including: - - The products of Ottoman Iznik Ceramics have demonstrated a huge interest in picturing animal world in all its wild and marine animals and all birds as they have elements of aesthetics in creation, structure, movements and colors.

- The Ottoman ceramists from Iznik achieved excellent work in picturing living organisms depending on the Islamic view which considers the animal as part of the kingdom of God and they showed respect to animals' beauty, power and benefits for nature and human.

The most important conclusion is: - - Ceramic formations surrounding the animal shapes represent aesthetic elements added to animal shapes.

They are an integral part of the characteristics of art formations in Islamic Art in general and Iznik Ceramics in particular.
