The women's educational reality witnessed several developments, since the end of the nineteenth century, the phenomenon of women's advancement and self-awareness.

Women became aware of themselves and their rights and dignity as a human person since they began to play a direct role in the life of society, and began to appear in their actual entity and take their place in public life without passing through Through the man or the family, the research included several periods, including the reality of education in the era of the Ottoman rule, which was limited to teaching reading and writing in books and missionary missions.

The Kingdom of Iraq supported the development of women's education in Iraq, and the research dealt with the educational reality of women in the republican era 1958-1963 and the expansion of education after the July 14, 1958 revolution and its interest in education and educational institutions, including primary education, secondary education, teacher preparation institutes, literacy and higher education, and signs of change emerged in the structure Iraqi society.
