English Abstract
The aim of the study is to identify job satisfaction and its relationship with professional performance of the teachers ( in the secondary stage of Mubarak Al-Kabeer Directory in State of Kuwait, and the effect of the variables ( sex, years of service and qualifications ), into this context.
The study used the relational descriptive approach, The sample of the study consisted of ( 316 ) male and female teachers from the secondary stage in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Directory in State of Kuwait.
A tool was developed consisting of two axes, the first to measure job satisfaction among secondary school teachers in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate in the State of Kuwait, It included 91 paragraphs, and the second to measure the professional performance of secondary school teachers in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate in the State of Kuwait, It included 22 paragraphs, Its validity and reliability were verified.
The results of the study showed that the level of job satisfaction among secondary school teachers in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate in the State of Kuwait is high.
The results also showed that the level of professional performance of secondary school teachers in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate is high, and the results also found a positive relationship of statistical significance between job satisfaction and professional performance among secondary school teachers in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate in the State of Kuwait .
The study showed that there are statistically significant differences at the level of significance ( α ≥ 5¸50 ) in job satisfaction among secondary school teachers in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate in the State of Kuwait in favor of males, while there were no differences with respect to the variables of years of service and the educational qualification.
The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance ( α ≥ 5¸50 ) in the level of professional performance of secondary school teachers in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate due to gender, years of service and educational qualification.
