The fragmentation of real estate ownership is changing the pattern of the housing unit, as its area is reduced and fragmented from one housing unit to several units of varying sizes, and the most important causes are the rapid population growth and the halting of development plans.

Residential unit area This phenomenon exacerbated within residential neighborhoods, putting pressure on public and community services, bypassing the sidewalks, and creating a kind of visual pollution within their areas of spread.

The study came with the field application of the Al-Amiriya area on three sections during the year 2019 as a model, as it witnessed a significant change in the pattern of its housing units.

This fragmentation on the infrastructure and community services, as well as the problems of visual pollution, where these services suffered greatly as a result of their lack of development and increase in their numbers in response to the population growth occurring in the study area.
