Abstract EN

This study examines the journalistic Journalism of the columnists in al-Zaman newspaper when Mosul was occupied by ISIS militants, and tries to find out what was circulated from these events according to their importance from the point of view of the book.

This study consists of three axes: First: It relates to the methodological framework in terms of defining the research problem and its objectives, and the method used, as the study used the historical method plus content analysis to obtain the required data.

Second: It was a theoretical introduction to Mosul that relied on the historical method.

Third: An analysis of the content of the press columns in Al-Zaman newspaper was conducted, which reached a number of positions and results that emerged from the study by emptying the tables and treating them using the percentage and indicating the repetitions that showed what was circulated in that historical era by the book.
