External loyalties have become a major challenge and a dangerous phenomenon that portends dire consequences for national security and civil peace in countries that suffer from this problem.

Here, the question must be raised, which is what makes some people whose loyalty compass is outside the borders? What is the secret that drives some to be tools abroad to bully their homeland and their fellow countrymen? These and other questions must be answered at the official and popular level of the state, in order to ward off its dangers and limit its harmful secretions on the individual and society alike.

Ideological motives, nationalistic impulses, religious sentiments, and tribal and regional affiliations play an influential role in the existence of this dilemma.
