English Abstract
The study aims to identify the social self-concept and its relation to the motivation of achievement among middle school students in the Farwaniya region in Kuwait.
In order to achieve the objectives of the study, two measures were developed, one of which is ( 40 ) The study of ( 440 ) students of middle school students in the Farwaniya area in the State of Kuwait for the academic year 2018/2019.
The social self-concept came at a high level, with an average of 3.60 and a standard deviation of 0.37.
The achievement level was average, with an average of 3.09 and a standard deviation of 0.30.
The results indicate that there is a statistically significant difference at the level of significance (α 0.05 0.05 ) in the social self-concept is attributed to gender and for females, and that there are no statistically significant differences in achievement motivation due to gender? And the existence of a difference of statistical significance in the social self is attributed to the grade, between the sixth and ninth grades and in favor of the ninth grade, and that there is a difference of statistical significance in the achievement motivation attributed to the grade, between the sixth and seventh grade and in favor of the seventh grade, and the sixth and eighth grades and for the eighth grade, Ninth grade and ninth grade.
The results showed a positive correlation ( 0.104 * ) with a statistically significant significance at α ( 0.05 ) for the responses of the sample members between the social self and the motivation of achievement.
