Abstract EN

The economic benefit is considered a basic principle in Islamic economy, and a judicious manner to achieve sharia purpose.

Accordingly, this case study is devoted to pinpointing the most important economic features of this benefit, while comparing it to the western concept.

It starts with a brief introductory section in which the clear juridical sharia definition and economic benefit are addressed, and then it reveals the most important aspects of the economic benefit of the western thought.

By so doing, this case study mainly attempts to be a reference point for understanding the economic vision.

It also attempts to showcase the most important aspects of the Islamic economic benefit and the resulting consequences, as it clarifies the principles of this benefit in the Islamic perspective.

The investigation focuses on the most important juridical principles and their role in protecting the economic benefit, in addition to exploring the range of (restriction) exerted by the Islamic economic benefit on economic freedom while comparing it to other concepts.

It further attempts to clarify the extent to which the Islamic economic benefit restricts the consumer's behaviour with comparison with other cases on this model.

Finally, this study tries to investigate the concepts of capitalism and socialism in relation to the economic benefit, by using examples comparing these features to their counterparts in the Islamic vision.

The researcher concluded that the Islamic economic interest carries a moral, objective and legislative principle, as it strikes a balance between the interest of the public and the private.

It places quantitative and qualitative restrictions on consumer behavior, in addition to limiting economic freedom to protect interest and prevent harm.

As an economic model based on interest and other legislative controls, it has consistent features and it is distinguished for avoiding slippage that results in structural weakness in the capitalist model and other economic models.
